Great evening at my Books and Boos Book Signing with friends and family. I love you all.  ❤

excerpts from BeingKind - A Brave New Race

Excerpts from BeingKind  - A Brave New Race: When all turned red I turned to the sea It was there I fled It was calling me The wind in my hair And a cool northern breeze With a flicker and a flare It beckoned me I swam for the living It was cold, it was warm But I kept on swimming Into a mighty storm I emerged unseen Beyond nothingness The world behind me Only blue with loneliness  And there I drift Along with my dreams To reflect on my past  Or of what it seems The salt erodes And there I float Where seagulls land To nourish their souls

BeingKind A Brave New Race by Linda G Palma

Excerpts from BeingKind  - A Brave New Race: "Ammonis Cornua," Professor John reviewed to all. "Sutures follow through the coiled shape. This form resembles the horns of our mountain goats which may infer that we are related." Professor John nodded to all as though convincing us to agree with him. "Consider the backbone from when you are genetically determined. You are curled before you straighten your back to evolve into a being!  At one point the backbone appears to be absorbed enabling us to walk upright."

Excerpts from BeingKind  - A Brave New Race by Linda G Palma.  Our stroll set a serene mood. The full moon glistened upon the now tamed waves. Each rolling wave gave an illusion of glistening tinsel as they curled under and dissipated  into a mist. We returned to Aurora's home quite tranquil and connected.

excerpts from BeingKind - A Brave New Race

Excerpts from BeingKind  - A Brave New Race: The stars shone brightly, and the sky encompassed the worlds afar in a midnight blue. Duke gave a healthy pour of ara. The creamy white beverage was refreshing and nutritious which encouraged Duke to have another. Duke poured a second hefty cup for himself before I took a second sip of my first. He reclined in his chair and studied the sky.  "Ah, the deserving end of a productive day." Steam flowed out of his mouth as he spoke.  I pulled my wool hat down over my ears and leaned towards the firepit to warm my exposed fingers that protruded through my work gloves. A small buzz passed us by to remind us that we were not alone.  "I heard they found human bones buried in the caverns," I casually remarked.  "Yes, I believe family units used some as burial grounds for their beloved and livestock." "Hmm," I leaned back with my hands placed firmly behind my head. "Cremation would be the civil thing to do.&

Excerpts from BeingKind  - A Brave New Race: Koena possessed a bright smile and eyes of amber which were genetically given to the beings of the region. He had defined lines around his eyes and mouth and deep furrows above his brow. As I would come to know him, I realized that those wonderful lines he flaunted were from the happiness he embraced. Beings from the Bhutan region did not believe in cosmetically enhancing their looks. Vanity was not a trait they encouraged nor wanted. "Accept what our environment brings forth to us" was a motto they lived by. I had never seen so much expression on one's face before. I would find in Bhutan that the faces of annuals ninety and greater had a story to tell, and I wanted them to share it with me.

Excerpts of BeingKind - A Brave New Race

Aurora walked to the shore as she did each day. Her mind focused on resonating ripples of conveyance as she silently called for her children whom she yearned to see again. The sky was dark with a mist in the air. I covered her with my jacket as she stayed silent. We waited together within the shadows of thought. A cool breeze shifted as a warm gust changed its course to resurrect our hearts. The sun peered through the clouds and a familiar sound in the distance called. Aurora looked out into the sea of promise. Faint silhouettes danced in the ocean as they moved joyfully towards us. Star, Neptune and Pisces had found their way home to Aurora's silent cries.

Excerpts from BeingKind - A Brave New Race

Excerpts from BeingKind A Brave New Race: The sun was high and the gulls flew past us as if to notify the authorities of our whereabouts. We were on our way to leave all behind. The salt from the sea splashed upon our faces as we raced towards a new home of desire and innovation. Its briny taste on my lips reminded me of its significance as a necessity for life. I looked at our constituents within our flight. We were all on our way to become that essential mineral for the meaning of a new existence. . . .

Excerpts from BeingKind - A Brave New Race

Excerpts from BeingKind  - A Brave New Race: "The dendritic expanse of lightning is similar to our makeup. Wouldn't you agree?" She was observant and intuitive. All that surrounded us and the vital anatomy of our being involved dendritic branches that reached out to communicate for life's balance. "Yes a very good observation. If you notice the banyan trees, they not only have branches but give birth to the leaves that also posses a network of veins. We are all from one." "We are all from one," she repeated. She looked back up at the storm. "A storm is on the horizon." She seemed solemn and stayed silent for some time before she asked, "I sense you are concerned. Who might Captain Wells be?" she questioned with her right eye of doubt.
