Excerpts from BeingKind - A Brave New Race by Linda G Palma           A new batch of superior beings had just been hatched and abruptly awakened to a divergent reality. Two newborns kicked at each other as they lay side by side. Atomic opened his eyes for the first time. His eyes of intrigue followed the stream of light that entered from a window and settled upon his inquisitive sister lying beside him. Aurora squinted as she stared into his eyes. Her eyes opened wider as the sun reflected the brilliance of lavender hues. Aurora reached over to hold Atomic’s hand; she smiled at him and cooed. Atomic held onto her small hand as she squeezed with tremendous might. Her tight grip would not let go as the technicians tried to take their vitals. Aurora and Atomic cried as they were harshly separated from one another. A world of possibilities was before them, and Aurora seemed to know what she wanted. The introduction to another being was comforting for her; their bond would grow stron

Be sustainable. Never believe that it is too late. As I describe in BeingKind - A Brave New Race, an almost barren world regenerated by visionaries, each one of us must take it upon ourselves to become the visionary parent to nurture back our mother earth. Do not leave it up to the survival of the fittest---competitive exclusion---and let nature take its course. Nature needs our help and we need a biodiverse environment to forge ahead.

BEINGKIND - A BRAVE NEW RACE HAS ARRIVED

BEINGKIND - A BRAVE NEW RACE in paperback has arrived on Amazon Writing poetry and short stories has been Linda G. Palma's passion since she was a child. Among her favorite books is Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. Science fiction movies, such as The Man Who Fell to Earth and Close Encounters of the Third Kind , have influenced her ideas about the anatomical and spiritual transformation of humans. She views these portrayals of extra-terrestrials originating from a one-sex race and the passion of conception through an aroused embrace. However, in our current milieu in which our freedoms are being challenged and fears divide and separate us, she questions where humankind is heading. As an undergraduate, Linda studied the science of evolution as well as creative writing at Queens College (CUNY) before launching herself into a twenty-five- year career in marketing and design consultancy. When not writing, Linda enjoys cycling, hiking the sky islands, cooking and advocat

HERE IT IS!

Check out my sci-fi novel: Beingkind - A Brave New Race.  I just received a copy through Amazon Kindle to approve. I will be reviewing and have the novel available this week! In this future world, with qualities similar to ours, we find that we have allowed technology to infiltrate our homes and compromise our privacy. We ask ourselves why humankind has taken their freedom for granted and if inequality, whether it is related to race or gender, has been the byproduct of ignorance, fear, power, and even jealousy. The signs of an unstable ecologic and economic planet are ignored as time fast forward and leaves civilization behind. In our future, we find that we have abandoned family values even when we must confront a fractured world and fight for its survival.

Ammonite

This picture is an ammonite which is symbolic to my novel: BeingKind - A Brave New Race. The ammonite is a transitional fossil which means it has become extinct. It represents infinity, the evolution of life, the positive energy and a connection to our past. Our ancestors have crushed and used it as a fertility supplement and it was believed to have calcium benefits.  I view this ammonite, who I call Cornelia, as our connection to our past. Its curve resembles the backbone of an embryo which we have absorbed to finally walk upright.
